The Science and Health Working Group is a joint project of Town Square for Democracy and Indivisible SF, a San Francisco-based chapter of the national organization. We are Bay Area residents – scientists, clinicians, public health advocates and the general public – concerned about unprecedented attacks on science and health, including cuts in research funding, dismantling of science institutions, removal of experts from federal advisory committees, and funding cuts to science-based services and strategies affecting health and the environment.

Our goals:

• Build community knowledge about threats to health and science.

• Work with individuals and organizations across the Bay Area to strengthen the community of health and science advocates and activists, locally and beyond.

• Reverse and resist attacks on science and health, and build/rebuild institutions and funding as needed.
